Exclusive: TNC Unveils CS:GO Squad

In what could be considered as one of their biggest forays in esports, renowned Filipino esports organization TNC has officially unveiled their brand-new CS:GO team last October 10 at a corporate party.

Composed of a smattering of players from top teams from all over the country, the TNC CS:GO team is set to join various local and international tournaments in the near future.

TNC Pro Team is known for their success in Dota 2 and CrossFire. Their biggest successes include grabbing the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) in 2016 as well as getting a top eight finish at the International, among many other achievements to date.

Here is a quick interview with Ryan "BabyBoy" Crisostomo, the manager of the TNC CS:GO squad.

Good day!

Hello!

More or less, we already know the members of the team. What are your plans?

Since we are a newly formed team, my plans are to build the structure, chemistry and brotherhood for the team.

What else?

Most especially to put God at the center of everything and stay humble all the time.

So, what do you aim for?

As their manager, I want them to compete at the highest level of every tournament that they will join. Respecting every opponent is very important to me. I also want the world to see how good Filipino gamers are, (particularly in first-person shooter titles such as CS:GO).

How did the team came into the light?

The manager of the CrossFire team, Eugene Balot, as well as Dota 2 legend Mark "Cast" Pilar, contacted me a few months ago to tell me that the time has come for TNC to make a team in CS:GO.

Luckily (for me), I'm the only candidate on their mind who can make this happen. Then the rest is history.

I am truly happy that they chose me to lead this team to the top.

Any shoutouts?

I just want to thank the TNC management for trusting me, especially Boss Eric Redulfin, whom I adore and respect the most!

Thank you!

You're welcome, thank you too!
